Christena Baker, MSW

Chris is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Certified Master Social Worker with over 40 years of experience. Chris specializes in trauma-informed treatment. She has advanced training in diagnosing and treating complex PTSD, intergenerational family conflict, grief, loss and life transitions, self-harming behaviors, post-adoption adjustment and sexual abuse. Chris is culturally sensitive and emphasizes helping clients build on their own unique strengths. Chris provides a warm, safe environment where her clients experience being respected, deeply listened to, and empowered to find changes that are right for them.

Chris enjoys traveling internationally and always appreciates coming home to Lincoln, Nebraska where she grew up. She enjoys gardening, dogs, art galleries, and experiencing the natural beauty of Nebraska.
